Lesson 6 Team Blog Reflection
- Teamwork of which I am proud.
- It was great to be able to see everyone's units as I was working on my own
- This group is really flexible about meetings and they were a big help in development of my NLE
- Our group does an excellent job of sharing information and project ideas with each other. We are always ready and willing to help our team members when they need the help.
- The teamwork I am proud of is how we come together regardless of meeting - we helped each other with examples of unit plans to ensure all were on the same page.
- Teamwork which I found exceptionally challenging.
- Not much for this lesson, most of the work was independent
- No challenge this week, everything running smoothly
- We did not have much to do in regards to teamwork, so nothing was exceptionally challenging.
- The most challenging I am facing with this lesson is posting a video link on my unit home page. Unfortunately I still have found a way so I may have to post the link after posting the URL tonight.
- Reflections on technology and instructional strategies that you and your team learned from this lesson.
- Screencast- O - Matic saved the day on my unit.
- Have finally developed a page that I have been meaning to get to for so long, satisfying.
- I thought I had a pretty good grasp on the instructional strategies that are incorporated into a NLE unit. It wasn't until I actually had to create one, that I realized how important they are in learning.
- I'm very happy to be at the end of the semester, I have to say though that I enjoy working on the unit plan - for some reason it makes sense to me and is easy to develop. Unless of course I have it all wrong - lol!
- Anything your team would like to share
- Excited for the last few weeks of the semester to be here.
- Looking forward to seeing all the innovations in technology when reviewing everyone's NLE.
- I am also looking forward to seeing everyone else's NLE units. I know I will learn something new by reviewing them.
Thanks for sharing! What did your group think about flat-structured discussions? It is very challenging in flat-structured discussions because we use "threaded" mental model to participate flat one. Many people use flat discussions without thinking and shifting their mental models. Our lesson discussions are just to bring the attentions to us. In face, researches have shown flat generates higher critical thinking than threaded did. If we intend to use flat discussions, we need to integrate additional tools or strategies to improve it. We need to remind participants to shift their mental models. If they use threaded mental model, they will get discouraged.
ReplyDeleteNow we finished our NLE unit and are reviewing our classmates’ NLE units. I would like to remind us four components of technology integration instructions for NLE: content; technology; instructional strategies; and assessments. Don’t forget to use these four components to evaluate units in additional Connectivism’s principles, such as UGC, meshup, social networking etc., particularly are there any UGC instructional strategies, other NLE instructional strategies, and assessment applied?
Your group has done a great work in out class. This is a very challenging course. I hope your group has seen the value of "network" collaboration and learning, not just "online" collaboration and learning. Your group should be proud of yourself.
